Fine Jewelry
Fine jewelry comes in many variations mostly in silver, gold and platinum. It often contains precious and semi precious gemstones.
Many techniques are employed in the design and production of fine jewelry, wax modeling, centrifugal casting, and even hand fabrication techniques.
Designing and creating fine jewelry designs is not as daunting a task as one might believe. We can help even the most novice designer find the resources to develop a design into a true work of art.

This classic hand fabricated bezel design by Mrs. Barbara J. Brown is a 6ct Blue Sapphire necklace bezel setting closed back surrounded with white diamonds including bale. This style assures the stone is very securely mounted but is heavy in material usage. This unique blue sapphire was chosen by Mrs. Brown as a gift for her daughter in law during a trip to Bangkok, Thailand. The resulting piece of fine jewelry was stunningly beautiful and a huge hit with the recipient.

10ct Lavender Jade necklace with a hand fabricated old world prong setting open back with solitaire white diamond bale. Was the creation of our a client who fell in love with this beautiful precious piece of lavender jade and felt it only needed a basic mounting with an open back to allow the light to penetrate the piece. The client was so taken with the outcome she never sold her design but decided to wear it instead.

8ct Green Sapphire Christmas Tree pin is an example of a piece first made with a wax and then as a lost wax casting in gold. Where the wax model is set into a plaster flask allowed to dry then fired in a kiln to burnout the wax leaving a cavity of the design.
It is then placed into a centrifugal cast machine and the molten gold is centrifugally spun into the mold. It gives the look of a hand fabricated piece but can be mass produced.

This exquisite 18ct piece of antique white jade was mounted in 18kt yellow gold with leaves of diamonds. Its beauty is simple and understated allowing the stone to do all the talking. Hand fabricated bezel and leaves with a split bale.
